בכורה לפרוייקט החדש שלנו "מחכות לנוטות החסד"
רביעי ה20.11 וחמישי ב21.11, ב19:00 במסגרת פסטיבל תמונע.

בואו נדבר רגע על המחזה - זהו השלב האחרון בטרגדיה ארוכת שנים של משפחה מקוללת ושבורה, בה המוות הוא דייר קבוע: האב - אגממנון הקריב את הבת לטובת המלחמה, קליטמנסטרה - אישתו נוקמת חזרה, ומעגל הנקמה ממשיך להתגלגל גם לדור הבא עם ילדיהם אורסטס ואלקטרה. אלת החוכמה והצדק מגוייסת בעל כורחה להתערב ומקימה את משפט הצדק הראשון.
האם יושג צדק? האם תושג פשרה? האם מעגל הדמים נפסק? ואם כן מה יהיה על אלות הנקם - האיריניות? מקרה מבחן זה דן כאמור במהות פולחן גאולת הדם שיוצא מנקודת מוצא כי רק אלימות תוכל לאלימות, ורק דם ימרק דם ומי שפעל ישלם. מוכר לנו משהו, לא? מסתבר שעוד לפני הספירה שאלו את עצמן היוונים האם יכולה להיות אלטרנטיבה?
אז איך מעלים את החלק השלישי לבדו – הו שאלה. איך מהדהדים את שני החלקים הראשונים בחלק האחרון? ובכלל – מה על העולם והוויזואלי בו מתקיימים בני אדם ואלים, ומה קורה לכל אלמנט במופע, בעקבות התווספותו של אלמנט נוסף? יש משהו שנידון להשתנות תמידית, והרי עכשיו אתן נכנסות לתמונה, ואתן הבלתי צפוי.
אסופה של יוצרות ויוצרים מתפוצצים מכישרון עבדו על כל רכיב ורכיב, ושלושה פרפורמרים - מיכל וינברג, מיכל קורן ושלום גיל מכשפים את המרחב.

Premiere of Waiting for GRACE
Wednesday, November 20, and Thursday, November 21, at 7:00 PM as part of the Tmu-na Festival In Tel-Aviv.
Let’s talk about the play The Eumenides for a moment.
A multidisciplinary adaptation of The Eumenides—the final chapter of Aeschylus’s brilliant trilogy - The Oresteia, marks the transition from a vengeance-driven society to one governed by justice and courts.
This is the final chapter in the long and tragic saga of a cursed and shattered family, where death is a constant presence. The father - Agamemnon, sacrificed his daughter for the sake of war. His wife - Clytemnestra, retaliated in revenge, and the cycle of vengeance and fury continues into the next generation with their children - Orestes and Electra. The goddess of wisdom and justice Athena - is reluctantly drawn in, creating the first-ever trial by justice.
Will justice be served? Will compromise be reached? Will the cycle of bloodshed come to an end? And if so, what will become of the Furies—the Erinyes? This case examines the very essence of the ancient practice of blood vengeance, which assumes that only violence can answer violence, and only blood can cleanse blood—an offender must pay.
Sound familiar?
It seems that even before the Common Era, the Greeks were asking themselves: could there be an alternative?
So, how do we stage the third part on its own? Oh, what a question. How can the first two parts resonate within the final one? And beyond that—what of the world and the visual realm inhabited by both humans and gods? What happens to each element of the performance as another is added? There’s something inherently destined for constant change. And now, this is where you come in: you, the unpredictable.
An ensemble of extraordinarily talented creators has worked on every single component, while three captivating performers enchant the space.
We are endlessly curious and excited to welcome you.

In Phathos Mathos' first production adapted especially for the screen, Dekel Avneri, known for challenging the stage-audience relationship, harnesses the absence of the live audience during Covid-19, and creates a new bond between the performers and audience via the camera, thus giving rise to a new art form, a hybrid between Theatre and Cinema.
