Today we released the GoEyes app into the world - a milestone 9 years in the making!

GoEyes is a full vision exam, including cylinder, on your phone. It’s the first of its kind, medical grade app that has been tested and proven accurate - and it all started on a bicycle trip.

Dr. Ofer Limon, Dr. Alex Zlotnik and Optometrist Ofer Ancri, have been working on ways to help people see better for years. In a previous chapter of their professional lives they have seen hundreds of patients going through refraction testing. That's when they realized that the need to visit a physical clinic limits access to vision care for billions of people around the world.

The solution to this problem came to them on a fateful bicycle trip in Southern Israel, as they stopped to rest under that lone tree. They realized there was, theoretically, a way to measure refraction online, which could revolutionize vision care around the world.
So, they set out to develop it, and built a company around it. Along the way we’ve also built an online PD meter and lensmeter. Today we are finally unveiling the full vision exam, GoEyes.

This day marks the beginning of a new era in our company’s story. Our founders’ big idea has become a reality, but there’s still so much work to be done to live up to our mission of bringing vision to the people.
