**A printed book is yet another hardware product (or is it?)**
Once it leaves the press, nothing inside it can be patched.
Every claim, figure, and URL is frozen on publication day.
An awkward problem for Tangibles, my new book about how software keeps physical products useful after they ship, so I built the book according to its own argument:
- The paperback, hardcover, and EPUB were programmatically generated from the same source. Change a sentence once, and all three editions follow.
- The 226 citations also sit behind a live software layer. Each source has a stable handle, pointing to a link resolver. When a URL dies, I update one record. at the back end, readers keep access to the referenced source or archive.
- Printed QR codes and ebook link print to the live companion site with all its references, tools, demos.
The paper remains fixed, but the system around it does not.

BMW Group / Figure humanoid
**A humanoid spent 11 months proving it could insert sheet metal. BMW just gave it a harder second job**
Figure 03 now picks parts from unsorted bins and sequences them for just-in-time delivery at Plant Spartanburg - unstructured picking, the problem that kept humanoids in demos rather than on payroll.
The detail that matters is the sequence BMW followed, not the robot. Read → https://tinyurl.com/yyc5jtj6

Fleet data / AI agents
**6 million vehicles' worth of telematics just became queryable by ChatGPT, Claude, and Copilot.**
Geotab's new Model Context Protocol connector opens fleet data to AI agents, with governance as the gate. Underneath, Rambus is shipping post-quantum root-of-trust into automotive silicon already in production.
Two new questions just entered the telematics RFP. Read → https://tinyurl.com/bdzkbzd8
