Feeling privileged to participate the annual "scholar in residence " program at Temple Israel of Scranton, PA. Thank you Susan Hodin Herlands for inviting me, and thank you Laney Izenberg Ufberg for facilitating the visit and offering your home, friendship and love.

As my husband Oren Naftali and I are about to board our flight back home, we're reflecting back on the lovely weekend we spent with your community, and can't wait for a reunion!

לפני חמישים ושש שנים שבנו אל בורות המים, לשוק ולכיכר. שופר קרא בהר הבית בעיר העתיקה, ועודנו קורא.

יום ירושלים שמח לכל בוניה ואוהביה של ירושלים.

56 years ago we have returned to the cisterns, and to the market- place, a Shofar called out on the Temple Mount in the old city, and still does.
