Most people know the story of Balaam and Balak from the Book of Numbers.

But what if I told you that I’m standing next to an inscription discovered in Jordan that mentions “Balaam son of Beor”?

The Bible isn’t asking us to believe in fairy tales. It tells the story of real people, in real places, at a real moment in history.

Archaeology doesn’t “prove” faith—but time and again, it reminds us that the biblical world was a real one.

Standing here, thousands of years later, it’s hard not to be amazed.

It’s not a surprise for those of us going through all this, that we’ve seen this before because we are living the next chapters of the Tanach and it’s happening right before our yes. Coincidence?? I don’t think so
