🌨️ 🌃 😴 In the night the snow fell for a few short hours. We awoke to the breathtaking beauty of Ramot and its surrounding hills and forest covered in a stunning white blanket 🗻😮☃️🌨

𝗢𝗯𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲: Unit9 (unit9.com), a London based global production house, were in the middle of shooting a Campari sponsored Amazon Prime documentary (𝙁𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙞 𝙁𝙤𝙧𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙) in Rome, Italy, focused on AI technology and the work of legendary Italian filmmaker Frederico Fellini. The covid pandemic prevented Dr Hava Aldouby, a world renown Fellini expert from Israel, from flying to the set in Rome. So crucial to the film was Aldouby that the Producers and Directors needed an Israel based production company to film and record her whilst sending a high quality live web feed via AI software to the set in Rome! After reaching out to Glow Films, we built a set in our studio that closely resembled the set in Italy. Following extensive testing, a live session and interview were carried out with a teleprompter used in an unorthodox and innovative way so that the crew in Rome could easily communicate with Dr Aldouby during filming.

SECOND HOME FOR RACHEL - my film for Kfar Yeladim David, a very special children's home in Jerusalem run by very special people.

As a filmmaker, I often immerse myself in the most unimaginable and unspeakable circumstances that sadly highlight the awful things people do to each other. I do this in order to try to tell a story authentically and hopefully well. This project was no exception.

The Jerusalem Iriya (City Council) do support Kfar Yeladim David but the truth is that the organization lack sufficienct funds to rescue and rehabilitate the many unfortunate abd severely traumatized kids that arrive at their door for salvation - both physical and emotional. They need as much finacial help as they can get. Last night (17 Dec 2019) Kfar Yeladim held a fundraising dinner in Teaneck, New Jersey where this film was part of the evening's events.
