Visited the Dead Sea this week and this best describes what you will see there in the late afternoon on a typical day... "Sunset was rapidly approaching. The surface of the Dead Sea had smoothed to a glass mirror, reflecting the crimson-colored images of the radiant Mountains of Moab (Jordan of today) in the distance."
