The Gush Etzion Tourism Cherry Picking Festival is officially open!

Located just 15 minutes outside Jerusalem (and under an hour from Tel Aviv), the stunning local orchards are yielding large, delicious fruit that are perfect for picking.

This is one of our absolute favorite annual traditions!

Special Cherry Picking Festival events will take place on Festival Days at each location, featuring live music, DJs, local wine, food stalls, farmers markets, and family-friendly activities — all set among the beautiful orchards of Gush Etzion.

🍒 Kfar Etzion Orchard: Sweet cherry picking with great individual and group rates.

🍓 Petel BaHar: Slated to open for the season! Cherries galore!

🌱 David's Organic Cherries: Opening later in June, specializing in delicious organic sour cherries.

Each orchard has it's own special Festival dates. They also offer self-picking options.

Pro-tip: orchards are subject to fruit supply, so check the hours, pack some water hats, and head out early!
