Located in the Jewish Quarter of the Old City, the Broad Wall is a massive 2,700-year-old fortification built by King Hezekiah to defend Jerusalem against the impending Assyrian siege. Recently a new visitor center opened at the site, featuring an immersive audio-visual presentation and a display of First Temple period artifacts unearthed during the excavations.
