🐇 Five Facts about 🐇

1. Bunny? What bunny? There’s no mention of the Easter Bunny in the Bible. The bunny likely originated as part of an Anglo-Saxon festival honoring a goddess named Eostre, whose sacred symbols are the hare and the egg.

2. Easter is 'a moveable feast', much like Ash Wednesday and Palm Sunday. Easter’s Date is determined by the Lunar cycle and falls on a Sunday between March 22 and April 25, typically the first Sunday after the first full moon on or after the spring equinox.

3. Pretzels used to be part of the Easter tradition, mostly in Europe. Pretzels were once thought to be a symbol of good luck, long life, and prosperity, with the three holes representing the Holy Trinity.

4. Two billion Peeps of candies are produced each year - enough to circle the earth two and a half times. Americans buy more than 700 million Marshmallow Peeps, shaped like chicks, Marshmallow Bunnies, and Marshmallow Eggs.

5. Ears first! 3 out of 5 people eat the ears first, while only a handful start with the feet or tail. What is your 'action plan' for the chocolate bunny? 🐇
