We were honored to participate in the architectural competition for the new Innovation Technologies Campus at Sapir Academic College in Sderot.

Our proposal explored how architecture can support research, creativity, collaboration, and community — creating a campus environment that connects advanced technologies with the unique spirit and landscape of the region. At the center of the design was the idea of scalability: a flexible campus framework planned for future growth, adaptation, and long-term development.

The design placed special emphasis on interactive and casual encounters, creating spaces that encourage spontaneous exchange, brainstorming, and cross-disciplinary collaboration. In this way, the campus was envisioned not only as a place for learning and research, but as an evolving platform for the future of education, innovation, and discovery.

Quick update: The new Nano Quantum & Nanotechnology building at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem is now in the structural skeleton phase — 4 of 5 floors complete. Engineers are using unprecedented volumes of steel to meet strict vibration requirements for ultra-sensitive quantum and nanoscale research. Exciting progress.
