Meta opened its virtual “Horizon Worlds” to users in US and Canada.

Accessible to anyone over the age of 18 who has a Quest 2 made by Meta’s Oculus, the virtual world is up and running. Meta has made their vision come to life - a virtual world full of social and collaborative experiences.

Said users will not be alone in their quest to seed Horizon Worlds. Meta has a $10 million fund in place to fund content on the platform, and it has partnered with brands like Gucci and Chipotle to launch events within the metaverse.
