🏛️What remains of a place when someone tries to erase its memory?

In the year 130, Emperor Hadrian ordered pagan temples to be built on Calvary and at the Holy Sepulcher to hide the Christian memory of those places. But, without realizing it, he was helping to preserve it.

Centuries later, you can explore that history at the Visitor Center, where interactive screens let you move forward and backward in time to see how these holy sites have evolved and how Christian tradition has kept their memory alive.

Because sometimes what’s essential doesn’t disappear. It’s just hidden, waiting to be found ✨

🏛️ ¿Qué queda de un lugar cuando alguien intenta borrar su memoria?

En el año 130, el emperador Adriano mandó construir templos paganos sobre el Calvario y el Santo Sepulcro para ocultar la memoria cristiana de aquellos lugares. Pero, sin saberlo, estaba ayudando a preservarla.
