Time Hopper

Long before polyester capes and candy, Halloween began here in Ireland, in a cave once believed to open the gates to the Otherworld. A few centuries (and a lot of sugar) later, here we are—ringing doorbells for mini Snickers. Progress? I’d say so. 👻🍬

Legend says Spanish explorer Ponce de León came to St. Augustine searching for the Fountain of Youth — a spring that could stop time.

Spoiler: he didn’t find eternal youth, and historians debate whether he was really looking.

But the Fountain is still here, bubbling away in St. Augustine. This Florida town is packed with history, and I’m obsessed!
