⛰️✨ What a wonderful day in the Wicklow Mountains!

Our usual Sunday morning Summit Steps guided run took us up Brockagh this week, followed by a trail taster around beautiful Glenmalure with some of the women from Dublin Front Runners . 🏃‍♀️💚

So much fun exploring the trails, watching the views open up as we climbed and enjoying the downhills.

We discovered hidden waterfalls 💦, glimpses of mountain lakes 🏞️ and some of the most stunning scenery Wicklow has to offer.

A morning of movement, conversation, reflection and real discussions around leadership, belonging and creating more supportive outdoor spaces for everyone. 🌿

From proactive pacing and psychological safety on the hills to brave spaces, communication and group dynamics. 🌟 The energy and openness from the group made for a brilliant day.

Takeaways:

⛰️ Inclusive leadership is not about slowing people down, it is about helping more people feel capable, confident and connected outdoors.

👣 The trail journey is more important than a short moment at the summit. The conversations, encouragement, shared challenges and sense of belonging created along the way are what truly shape people’s experience and sense of belonging in the outdoors.

😁 When people are travelling home after a day on the trails, we want them to be smiling, satisfied, proud and looking forward to returning to the outdoors.
