SAFETY MESSAGE – BRAY TO GREYSTONES CLIFF WALK

Wicklow County Council would like to inform the public that the Bray to Greystones Cliff Walk is currently closed due to significant safety concerns. An alternative route has been provided.

The council has marked an alternative pathway from Greystones to Bray, using other trails on Bray Head.

For safety, please follow all signage and fencing and do not cross barriers.

Baltinglass MD wishes to advise the public that gritting of road surfaces will take place intermittently at various locations in the MD from Friday 10th to Sunday 12th July 2026 due to high road surface temperatures.

This preventive action is necessary to restore surface friction and improve safety for road users.

Wicklow County Council apologise for any inconvenience that may be caused.

🎉 Exciting news for Wicklow Town!

The new café and maze at Abbey Park on the Abbey Grounds will be fully open to the public from Monday, 13th July.

If you're visiting Taste of Wicklow this weekend, you'll get a first look, as the café and maze are already open for the festival before welcoming everyone from next week.

The Rise Café will be operated by Wicklow Social Enterprise, a partnership between Wicklow Town Community Development and Tiglin.

The wider park, developed by Wicklow County Council with funding from Fáilte Ireland through the Destination Town Capital Investment Programme, is expected to open in September 2026, subject to the completion of final works.
