Fantastic idea! 🇮🇪🇵🇸🧘‍♀️

Who's up for some beach yoga this summer?

I'm running a donation-based class every Saturday morning on Baginbun beach. All proceeds in June will go to the Palestine Children's Relief Fund.

As you may know the situation over the past 8 months in Gaza has been dire and I wanted to do something to help contribute towards food, water, and medical support for children and families in Gaza.

So please come join us for a gentle flow session on the beach. It is totally beginner-friendly. All you need to bring is your mat. Full details here: https://www.serenalou.com/beach-yoga .

Link to donate to the Gaza fundraiser is here: https://gofund.me/ebfc4f3b. There's no set amount, anything at all you can afford to give.

Thank you so much in advance and I hope to see you on the beach soon :)

This is a new short interview series called “Spotlight”.

From fitness enthusiasts to innovative entrepreneurs to creative artists, in each episode, I speak with people from various backgrounds to highlight what they are most passionate about.
In this episode, I met with Shonagh Lyons, a radio presenter who co-hosts Beat Breakfast on Beat 102-103, the biggest radio station in the south-east of Ireland.

Shonagh’s journey started with a love of drama. She was part of many drama productions as a child in her home town of Wexford but later went on to study drama at DIT in Rathmines, Dublin.

Soon after completing her studies, she landed a job as a presenter on the RTE kids show Sattitude which kick-started her presenting career.

After returning to live in Wexford, she spotted an opportunity in radio and decided to study the broadcast course which was run by Beat and WLR and soon after was given the chance to start with Beat. She then set her sights on presenting the Breakfast Show at Beat and the rest is history as they say.

Shonagh’s drive, hard-working attitude and gratitude for what she has is truly inspiring. She is living proof that knowing what you want and putting the work in pays off.

I enjoyed this chat with Shonagh and I hope you do too.

Enjoy!
