🔵⚪🔴 AIRC Festival 2026 – RC 80 Team Showjumping 🔴⚪🔵

What a fantastic weekend for our RC 80 teams again this year at the AIRC Festival! 🐴✨
A huge congratulations to our Team 1, who put in an outstanding performance to finish 2nd Overall! 🥈👏

A wonderful achievement and a reflection of all the hard work, dedication and support shown by both riders and horses throughout the season.

This team perfectly demonstrated the spirit of riding club competition.

What makes us proudest is seeing members support one another, encourage each other's progress, celebrate every achievement, and enjoy their horses along the way. 🐎❤️

From experienced competitors to those taking on new challenges, every rider contributed to an amazing team atmosphere this weekend as did the supportees as usual!

Congratulations to all eight combinations on representing Westport Riding Club with such positivity, sportsmanship and determination.

WRC was all over the province this weekend!

Susan, Viola, Amanda, susan w, Elaine, Jenny, and Niamh all went to Claremorris Saddlery & Equestrian Centre on sunday and took part in the ODE there.

Susan Mallon won the 70/75 ODE. Susan Wilson 2nd, Amanda 8th with a brilliant dressage score!! Niamh Corcoran won the open ode. Elaine Garavan won 80-85cm showjumping. Jennifer 2nd in 80-85cm ODE. Viola won the 70-75cm Short ODE. All very exciting!

Sofie, Ruth, margaret and Helen went to the eventing ireland competition with Oliver Walsh at flowerhill equestrian. Sofie came 3rd in the BE90 Airc class. Margaret and Helen placed 3rd and 4th respectively in the BE80 class and Ruth had a very enjoyable day out!

All in all big adventures were had! Onwards now for the festival!

WRC got out and about last weekend and had a ball!

🌞Mona, Mag and Jenny all went to the show and all 3 placed in the class with mona winning the class
Jenny won her RCP1 dressage and Mag came 2nd in her veteran dressage class.

🌞 Sarah and Sofie went to NIF where they took part in the working hunter classes and had a great time!

🌞Lauren went to oughterard show and won both her classes and went on to be Supreme Champion of the show!
