Today we closed our gym doors for the last time…
TBC gym is no more, an end of an era
When we first started in the fitness industry we set out from the get go to try and build community
A community of like minded individuals who wanted to get better and be better and wanted to have fun along the way
Looking back at all of the memories, the people who trained with us over the years…the friends we have made
It’s fair to say that we have achieved that and more ❤️
Today was emotional to say the least, a very weird day - it’s all positive change for us but it’s never easy to say goodbye
To all of our clients, past and present, we love you, and we thank you for being there with us and for all of the memories ❤️
Here’s to the future 🥂

We’d like you all to meet our amigo - 👋
David came to us while he was living here in Ireland, he moved here from Spain for a short while…for the weather he said?!? 👀🤣
He was looking for somewhere to train and fell in love with our gym!
He had a goal and it was simple “laser focus and see what we can do”
He knew he wanted to drop body fat and was willing to go hell for leather at it over a 10 week period
Here’s what was involved:
Calorie Deficit - calculated calories to get him from A to B as fast as possible. She also explained the boundary of those calories if he wanted to have a social weekend and how to work that in. But don’t be mistaken. This takes commitment to the plan
She calculated that if he followed it, he should see “x” amount gone over the 10 weeks
He showed up to the gym and trained hard 3x per week, every week
His effort in the gym and his training is what’s most important, he didn’t just show up, he pushed hard
He focused on things outside of the gym like sleep and recovery
Most of all he trusted the process 👊
Your goals can be achieved with the right plan of action
They can become simply about ticking a box with the right help and accountability 💯
David has since moved back to Spain and is living his best life on the beach for the rest of the summer ☀️
We would love if you can show David some love on a mega transformation 🙌👊

We’re training for our our wedding right now 🤵♂️👰♀️
We have 14 weeks until our big day and we are dieting and training HARD. We both know exactly where we would like to be by then.
Honestly, having ‘something to train for’ makes it so much easier to put the work in.
Why?
Because when you’re getting up early in the morning, or, getting to the gym after a day in work having your WHY is the thing that’ll get you there.
It prevents you from having to look for Devine inspiration when you’re cosy in your bed 🛌 and contemplating snoozing the alarm ⏰
Our wedding date is going to come by (and FAST) regardless of if we put in the effort and work or not.
Aside from this, we have committed to:
Fingal 10km
Belfast half marathon 21km
Lisbon marathon 42.1 km (Eoin)
And again, these event dates will come by wether we train for them or not!
If you want to achieve your goal, you gotta be all in!

I can’t tell you how good it felt to move today 🏃♂️
All my body has been threatening me with a cold, I’d be waking up feeling a bit sniffly and feeling exhausted
So the decision was made to cancel all training I had planned for the week!
You have to listen to your body 💯
But today, as the day progress Ive been feeling much better and honestly, I was craving movement
So off out I went into the sun! What a day!
I feel energised and good after that run
I feel refreshed and happy too!
Which brings me to my point
This week there is going to be a natural increase in calorie consumption with it being Easter
If you live in a house like mine, a tray of them was bought at the start of the week and gradually been eaten each day only to have to buy more for Easter 🤦♂️
There can be an attitude towards moving to “earn” your chocolate this week
And even next week a lot of restriction because of the extra calories
Change that mindset right now after reading this…
You should move because you like how it makes you feel
You should move because your body feels good after moving
You should move because it clears your head and boosts your mood
If you adopt that attitude towards training there is room for a little bit of chocolate this week and any other week - and always “Guilt free”

No food is off plan so you are never off plan 🙌👊
