SHAPE Brand Development

We've been busy bees over the past few months. We used the initial lock-down period to carry out a full brand audit on SHAPE. And it has to be said we were very surprised at the results. Being a brand agency you would expect we know our own brand inside out, right? Seems we had quite a few misconceptions about ourselves. Firstly, we found that although we felt our logo was unique and memorable, our audience found it weak, confusing and forgettable. Ouch!
So first things first. Our designers got to work on our new logo. Without throwing out the baby-with-the-bathwater, we kept the recognisable colour palette and went to work on choosing a strong modern serif font. The oversized red period mark is distinguishing and utilised as a defined punctuating mark. Shape "Branding" was also not telling the full story as it implied we only did graphic design, whereas the majority of our services are increasingly helping clients to develop their brands. Hence, we have now evolved to SHAPE Brand Development.
The finishing touches have now been put to our new website and because of the latest lockdown, we are having a soft launch. We feel this site clarifies our brand and what we do. However, it doesn't matter what we think, the only opinion that matters is our audience. Please let us know what you think.
