CP Electrical (Crime Prevention Security) are currently seeking to recruit a fully qualified electrician who is specialised in security installations to join our team.
What will you do?
The successful candidate will have a relevant trade qualification and at least 2-3 years post qualification experience.
The ideal candidate will have experience in multiple areas but preferably within security and installations. You will be responsible for installing and repairing wiring, electrical and security fixtures, supervising and training apprentices on the job.
Key Responsibilities/
-Install, maintain and repair electrical wiring and lighting systems.
-Installation of CCTV, Security equipment, intruder and fire alarms.
-Perform general electrical maintenance and commercial installations.
-Supervise and guide apprentices on site.
-Read and understand technical diagrams and blueprints
-Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
-Perform all pre start, hygiene and safety checks as necessary.
-Document all aspects of maintenance work carried out and keep management informed of potential issues.
-Adhere to company safety policies at all times.
-Good knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems.
-Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices
-Will be required to be on call when appropriate.
Requirements
-Full clean driving license.
-Computer literate
-Speak English

Electrical-Apprenticeship-Programme
CP Electrical (Crime Prevention Security) are currently seeking to recruit a 1st / 2nd year electrical apprentice who wants to start their career as an Electrician.
What will you do?
As part of this apprenticeship, you will gain exposure in areas such as Electrical Installation and Maintenance, Fire alarms, Intruder alarms and CCTV within a professional working environment.
At the end of a 4 year period, you will be qualified as an electrician with QQI Advanced Level 6 Electrical Trade Certificate,
Day To Day Duties
-Assist a qualified electrician and follow instructions
-Prepare and clean work areas
-Carry and deliver materials
-Install, repair, and maintain various electrical wiring systems and equipment
-Use measuring equipment and hand tools to perform varying electrical work
-Follow safety codes and building regulations
-Be flexible to work on a number of shifts
-Will also be required to attend classes in line with the Solas apprenticeship programme.
Requirements
-Minimum H6 or O5 result in the Official Leaving Certificate Maths
-Up-to-date Safe Pass and Manual Handling Training.
-Driving license
Ideal Candidates
Must have a can do attitude and a willingness to learn. You may be required to travel to other sites in Ireland so a driving license is an advantage.
Qualified applicants must be well-organized, motivated team players who are hungry to learn the electrical trade. they must be able to follow instructions and apply knowledge that they have learned.
