Yesterday we celebrated 10 fabulous years of ExWell Medical in Sligo with a special Wellness Workshop at the Knocknarea Arena, ATU Sligo – the very venue where it all began back in 2016. 🎉

Sligo was our first venue outside Dublin, and what a success story it has become. Led by our incredible colleague Joanne Regan, the programme has flourished over the past decade. Today, ExWell operates across two centres in Sligo (Sligo Regional Sports Centre and Collooney), supporting more than 400 participant visits every week. Along the way, Joanne even completed her PhD on the ExWell programme, while many talented colleagues have contributed to its growth and success over the years.

Nearly 140 loyal ExWell participants joined us for yesterday’s celebrations. It was also wonderful to welcome the clinical colleagues who refer participants to the programme, as well as the academic colleagues from ATU Sligo who helped get ExWell off the ground all those years ago.

The day was filled with great memories, stories, laughter and connection. Thank you to everyone who has been part of the ExWell journey in Sligo. Here’s to the next 10 years! 💙
