Insurance is over 23
~Under 23’s will be accepted pending insurance approval

Requirements:
•Valid driving licence & CPC cards
•Good written & spoken English
•Good work ethics & manor
•Must have valid work permit to work in EU

HGV Truck & Trailer Mechanic Wanted – McNamara Logistics (Roscommon)

Location: Roscommon, Ireland
Job Type: Full-Time / Permanent

🚛 About Us:
McNamara Logistics is a well-established haulage and logistics company based in Roscommon. We take pride in running a modern, high-spec fleet and maintaining the highest standards of vehicle performance and safety. Due to continued growth, we are now seeking a skilled and dependable HGV Truck & Trailer Mechanic to join our team.

🔧 The Role:
As a key part of our maintenance team, you’ll be responsible for carrying out inspections, servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on our fleet of trucks and trailers.
Key Responsibilities:
Routine maintenance and servicing of HGV trucks and trailers
Fault diagnosis and mechanical repairs
Preparation of vehicles for CVRT testing
Maintaining accurate service records and completing job cards
Ensuring all work is carried out to a high standard and in line with health and safety regulations
Working both independently and as part of a team

✅ Requirements:
Qualified HGV Mechanic or equivalent (apprentices also considered)
Experience working on HGVs and trailers
Strong knowledge of diagnostics and fault-finding
Full driving licence (HGV licence is a bonus)
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work efficiently and safely under pressure
