County Roscommon Disability Support Group CLG an established Healthcare Training company, is inviting applications from suitably qualified tutor/trainer to deliver Level 6 Disability Awareness 6N1975 module.

Role Purpose:
To be placed on a panel of tutors to deliver the Level 6 Disability Awareness 6N1975 module.

Responsibilities
· Deliver, manage and assess Level 6 Disability Awareness module on contractual arrangements.
· Competent with the Virtual Learning Environment mode of delivery, Learner Management System (LMS) and the use of Zoom/Teams.
· Be familiar with QQI’s Assessment Guidelines particularly those procedures relating to assessment.
· Function as the main and primary point of contact for learners throughout the programme providing support and feedback for the duration of the programme.
· Work closely with the Training and Quality Officer to ensure a supportive learning environment and that assessments are carried out to an excellent standard.
· Confirm the Programme Assessment Plan/Timetable with the Training & Quality Officer before the start of the programme.
· Submit Lesson plans using templates provided before the start of the programme to be used during the delivery of the programme.
· Work with other members of the programme team/tutors to foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.
· Contribute to programme evaluation and review.
· Participate in training and professional development if required.
· Evaluate the effectiveness of the level 6 module and provide feedback to RSG’s Training & Quality Officer.
· To comply fully with all RSG policies and procedures.

Essential Requirements
· A degree Level 8 minimum on the NFQ (or equivalent) in the relevant subject area.
· Significant knowledge of the disability, social care or related area sector.
· At least 2 years’ experience in delivery of accredited training programmes to adult learners.
· Training qualification at NFQ Level 6 minimum or equivalent.
· Flexibility and ability to work on own initiative and co-operatively.
· Able to develop and maintain effective relationships with course attendees/learners.
· Experience in the use of a Learning Management System (LMS) e.g., Giraffe Pad.
· Motivate and encourage participation.

· Knowledge of the disability, social care or related area sector.
· A training qualification at Level 6 (minimum).
· At least 2 years’ experience in delivery of accredited training programmes to adult learners.
· Experience in the delivery of quality assured training.
· Significant knowledge of the healthcare sector and previous experience of working in the field of healthcare
· Flexibility and ability to work on own initiative and co-operatively.
· Develop and maintain effective relationships with course attendees/learners.
· Motivate and encourage participation.
· Experience in the use of a Learning Management System (LMS) e.g., Giraffe Pad.
· Manage administrative tasks effectively.
