Caroline from our Ashbourne service expressed an interest during her recent personal planning meeting in learning more about saving and budgeting. She decided to set herself a goal of saving €70 over seven weeks so that she could get her hair done.
With the support of her key worker, Sophie, Caroline got a money-saving book and saved €10 each week during the money management programme in the service. She kept track of her savings in her book and, when she reached her savings goal, she treated herself to a trip to the hairdresser.
Caroline wanted a cut and colour, and she chose a gorgeous cherry red shade. She is excited to continue saving and budgeting for future expenses. 📊💰🧾
