⛳️ Golf Like Me – What a Fantastic 5 Weeks! ⛳️

We wrapped up an amazing 5-week Golf Like Me programme organised by SportUile 🙌💙💚

It was brilliant to see participants from Laytown Bettystown Youthreach getting involved, building confidence and developing new skills on the course 😊🏌️‍♂️

A huge thank you to Golf Ireland and coach Paul McLoughlin for delivering such a fun and supportive programme at Bellewstown Golf club 👏⛳️

From first swings to growing confidence, the progress over the weeks was fantastic to watch! 🌟💪

Well done to everyone who took part 🙌

☀️ Amuigh Faoin Spéir – DAY 4 | Tá an ghrian ag taitneamh!

Sunshine and learning at its best this week for students of St. Patrick’s NS, Slane and Gaelscoil an Bhradáin Feasa 🌿

As part of their ongoing An Choill Beag projects, both schools have now completed Day 4 of An Taisce’s LEAF Programme.

Day 4 highlights included:
🌱 Plant identification
🐝 Biodiversity surveys
🌳 Installing individual tree signs
📚 Sharing resources
🌍 Learning how to care for their new habitat

Students proudly placed individual tree signs around the site, along with a larger project sign showcasing their fantastic work.

For a hands-on nature experience, some lucky students even got to handle an old wasp nest… very cool! 🐝

Next up:
➡️ Kilmainhamwood will complete Day 4 next week
➡️ Moynalty NS will wrap up their programme later this year

Obair iontach ar fad! Brilliant work by all involved 👏🌿

This project is funded by Meath Local Sports Partnership through the Participation Nation – Amuigh Faoin Spéir Fund.
