History has a habit of finding its way to Millstreet. 🇮🇪🌍

From the unforgettable days of Volvo World Cup Show Jumping to international eventing, boxing, Gaelic Games, motorsport and so many landmark sporting occasions, this Cork town (pop. 1722) has welcomed some of the biggest names in sport and entertainment. This weekend, another chapter is written as the Green Glens Arena and Drishane Castle host the inaugural FEI Eventing World Championships U25 Millstreet 2026
Today, athletes and horses from around the world were welcomed in style. Following a successful First Horse Inspection, where all presented horses were accepted into competition, the Parade of Nations wound its way through the streets of Millstreet against the backdrop of Clara Mountain, before renowned entertainer Liam O’ Connor welcomed everyone back into the Green Glens Indoor Arena in traditional Irish style. Tomorrow, attention turns to the dressage arena where the battle for World Championship honours begins at 14.00.
