Hello everyone,

It's been a couple of months since our first Baltic Culture Festival in Mullingar! I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for helping to bring it all together. It was an incredible, busy, and culturally enriching day.

To my knowledge, we had so many attendees on the festival day that the Bandhall filled up so quickly, we had to queue people in so they could watch the dancers and singers and browse around the market.

A big thank you to Westmeath County Council for helping make this festival happen. Thank you to the Latvian, Estonian, Lithuanian, Irish, and Polish communities for bringing the music and arts from the Baltics to Westmeath. Special thanks to Inguna Darzina-Grietina for putting together the running order—it was a massive help.

Thank you to Ray Dolan from Mullingar in Mullingar for having a chat with me, and thanks to Midlands 103 for supporting our idea. We're also grateful to our dear Ambassadors to Ireland, who came all the way from Dublin to greet us in Mullingar.

There's so much more to say and share, but for now, I'll leave it here with deep gratitude to you all. I look forward to the next festival, where we can continue sharing our traditions and roots with the wider community.
