✅ Herringboard Floor & Diamond Tiles Installation! | Stephen Reilly Tiling

In the hall we got the tiles and grout up — including spots that were tiled over old tiles. The floor was so uneven we had to level it twice using self-levelling compound just to get an even base.

Once the surface was prepped, we applied primer (IPA), then Stephen Reilly Tiling worked his magic laying diamond-pattern tiles 💎

Next up: the living room. It was part tile, part laminate, and again, we had to strip it all out — The floor was way off, and with herringbone flooring being so delicate, we used seven bags of self-levelling compound to get the surface spot on.

We finished the job with fresh skirting boards — now everything’s prepped and ready for the painter and kitchen f**ters next week 🎨🛠️
