Our new President, Suzanne McEvoy, has been delighted to spend the past few weeks visiting and meeting with some of our town centre members.

These conversations have provided valuable insights into the opportunities and challenges facing local businesses, and it has been fantastic to hear members’ thoughts, ideas, and ambitions for Mullingar.

Suzanne is looking forward to meeting many more of our members in the weeks and months ahead and hearing how your Chamber can best support you and your business.

If you would like to share your views, ideas, or priorities, we would love to hear from you. Together, we can continue to strengthen and support our vibrant business community.

Mullingar Chamber held its first regional meeting in Tullynally Castle last Friday, with special guests Minister Peter Burke and Minister Robert Troy in attendance.

The morning began with a guided tour of the castle, kindly led by Robert and Octavia, showcasing the history and heritage of this remarkable setting. This was followed by a session in the Great Hall, where we held a Q&A with local representatives, discussing key regional issues and opportunities for collaboration.

A sincere word of thanks to everyone at Tullynally Castle & Gardens, as well as the team at Castle Varagh Hotel, who catered the post-event lunch. Their hospitality contributed greatly to the success of the day.

A valuable and engaging start to our regional meeting series, and indeed to Suzanne McEvoy’s term as President.
