Hope you are all enjoying the sunshine!

I went for a walk in Beleek this morning and dont seem to be able to go for a walk like a normal human being without scanning the ground to see what I might be able to use for future projects!

So I picked up some moss, a small twig with oak leaves and tiny sycamore seeds which are perfect wings for a future fairy child🍃

I wanted this piece to feel like a secret discovered in a tide pool. She’s hand-felted from soft merino wool, adorned with a crown of dried flowers, and perched on a piece of sun-bleached driftwood I found on Bartragh Island in Killala bay, Co. Mayo.

​There’s something so lovely about blending the textures of the land and the sea.
