There is a new Saturday SMART recovery meeting for the next 8 weeks!!! 12pm - 1.30pm. Big thanks to the wonderful facilitators who will be leading this out 👏👏👏 SMART Recovery Ireland Western Region Drug and Alcohol Task Force West Be Well

September is recovery month and we are very excited for this years 'Celebrating Recovery Day' in Galway. This is our 3rd year making recovery visible and celebrating people who have changed their lives around.

James Leonard (Well known in the recovery field for his former Two Norries Podcast) will be our dynamic MC on the day who will talk to a number of nominated 'hope inspiring people' in recovery about their journey.

We will be joined by 2 well known champions of recovery Prof. David Best and CEO of Recovery Connections - Dot Smith who will share their experience on implementing a 'Recovery Inclusive City' and explore the development of this for Galway. The space will be created for professional and personal input in creating a 'Recovery Inclusive City' in Galway on the day.

The WRDATF Regional Recovery strategy will be launched at this event

Some of Galways 'On the Right Road' Cycling Club were delighted to welcome the inspirational Ballymum Recovery Cycling Club before they set off on their coast to coast cycle from Galway to Dublin. Big well done to every cyclist that took part in this challenge 👏👏👏 Recovery Road Cycling Club Ballymun Recovery Ballymun Youth Action Project
