Recent shoots and finds from long ago.

I do love going through old photos I may have discarded once upon a time and view them through fresh eyes. The one on the top is the original, the one on the bottom is a fun re-edit I did lately. Initially I thought the bride was the centre of the photo, but now I realise the out-of-focus groom is the most important thing in this shot. The look of admiration in his eye as his bride takes centre stage is truly beautiful.

When the cold weather strikes, there is nothing better than looking back on a wonderful summer wedding. Getting to be the photographer for the wedding of such an amazing couple in such an amazing venue was a true honour.

My recent trip to Helsinki and Tallinn allowed me to try out some new ideas, to allow myself to think more about the photos I'm taking and what it is I'm trying to capture. A movie came to mind lately, Elephant, an amazing cinematic masterpiece surrounding the day and moments that preceded the Columbine disaster, in which the camera follows the subjects in order to help the viewer to get an idea of what life was like for them. The strange camera angles showed you life from their perspective. I guess this series is my homage to that idea.

Going back to Helsinki next weekend, the addiction to Trams is very real. Can't wait to bring you more beautiful photos of a beautiful city!!

It was so exciting to get to shoot the awesome Renovator during this year's Rose of Tralee Festival.

What an amazing couple of days shooting this superstar!!! So many looks so much meaning. The perfect model :) Here's some lovely high-key photos :)
