The CNC Machining of Materials programme at TUS is designed to help learners develop the skills and knowledge needed to machine successfully using Computer Numerical Control.

This part-time programme focuses on programming 3-axis CNC milling and 2-axis lathe work. Learners will explore part-programming, machine preparation, work holding methods, tooling selection and mounting, machining operations, and safe working practices.

Delivered at TUS Coonagh, Limerick City, this 27-week programme starts on 9 September 2026 and is Skillnet funded for 2026.
