Creggs Rural Development

Thanks to everyone who came along to our Creggs Tidy Towns Spring Cleans. We had 19 volunteers last Saturday morning and 10 this morning, a total of 21 people took part, which was a great turn out. We had lots of new faces and lots of young people involved. Our new Creggs Tidy Towns high-viz vests were put to good use! A huge volume of rubbish was collected, which can be seen at the side of the Heritage Centre. We also segregated the waste where possible, paying attention to vapes and batteries which can’t be put with general waste. We litter picked all four approach roads. Our efforts will continue in coming weeks with weekly litter patrols. Thanks again to all.
