Following John joining our team last week, we are also delighted to welcome another new member to the commercialisation team. Dr Adam Collins, is an NUI Galway graduate with a degree in applied physics and a PhD in photonics.
Following his PhD completion, Adam spent some time exploring the commercial feasibility of a patented laser scribing process and will now be supporting our Science and Engineering community in the University.
Dr Jacinta Thornton, Associate Director of the Tech Transfer Office says “Great to see Adams enthusiasm and energy has brought him around the world travelling and back to his alma matter of NUI Galway to continue his commercial focus” The team look forward to working with you Adam.
