HARLEAN PALFREY on being Independent as bilingual Singer Pop 🎙️ Having an artistic identity is often being seen as personality. To some degree, personality surely defines the artist style & sound BUT it’s not the same. As a singer I’m different compared to my Literature personality as a direct comparison. Whatever I work on, it’s driven by my observations, thoughts and excitement for a theme.
Some might still belittle me but indeed for the incorrect reasons. While you might fu** around with your life- mine is measure-able by smaller and at times larger successes. I have people who tell me if I’m wrong and also celebrate when I’m right. It takes years in Music to understand what genre fits- in this regard, I still love to experiment cause I just enjoy different genres throughout.
