Don't be sad, it's all OK!
A poem I've recently done for the most tragic loss of our little nephew Odhran 💔👼💙🤍💛
DONT BE SAD
Don’t be sad, it’s all ok, there’s no more pain, it was his way.
He felt your love while he laughed and played, and these memories dear, they’ll never fade.
His button nose and sweet blue eyes, a glint of mischief they would disguise.
As his little voice would bellow out, you could hear his strength, there was no doubt.
His adoration for Isla Mae was clear to see as they sat and played. And hers for him as she’d hug him tight, she was his stead, he was her knight.
And on that morning when all was still a ray of sunshine came over hill, and as his parents they held him tight, they felt that mornings shining light.
Then all was calm and all was clear, no more pain, no more tears. The love he felt it kept him strong, but in Heaven is now where he belongs. And if you listen you’ll hear him say,

“Don’t be sad, it’s all ok”

Taking orders for post Christmas now, as presently I'm working on my last poem before Christmas, for a lady who lost her mum this year, suddenly, her best friend, her kids most cherished Nana, and I want to do it the utmost justice!!!

➡️ BACK STORY OF LIES😅😅
So here's a poem I've done for my father for Christmas (Sushhhhh if you know him, it's a surprise) but he doesn't do social media, or any kind of tech stuff to be honest😁 so no fear of him seeing this poem.
Anyways, to give you before you read this poem.... When I was younger, like from the age you believe everything and look up to your parents to believe them to be the superheroes that they say they are..... well I was told by my father that he lived with a man called , a very influential and famous writer, however this was but a LIE, as I harshly found out in school while approaching the topic about famous and influential writters and telling the whole class my Dad was roomates and friends with this very same fella.... you can imagine my surprise when I had to look at dates, and when he died😏😅 But he DID infact sculpt his head and to this day its mounted in UCD (However, to really believe this I had to do some online googling, thankfully one part of his story was legit😅)
And then another small but very memorable story *seeing as I was a young adult at this point and should have known better* was of a small Irish town called Granard and how it got its name (its called after a local bird called the Granard bird, well obvs..... obviously NOT more like🤨).... so needless to say, why wouldn't you believe these things from a superhero parent😏!!
And pretty much from then on I've been questioning EVERYTHING he says🤣🤣🤣
And this year, we'll I'm gifting him this poem with a small sculpture, that may or may not have been "borrowed " from his house🤣👊💥, so let's see how Christmas gifts go down this year.

My Mum passed away 2009.
Around then I'd created a good few poems for people but couldn't yet write one for my own mum, 5 years on from then however, well here it is for ye to have a read.
Not the deepest of poems, but I like to keep my work real and this is how I was feeling at the time!
There may be a few spelling or punctuation mistakes but I never sent these poems off for screening as they were never for the public eye (till now with ye guys 😉😁) so ye may allow my dyslexia to shine a lil here if that's ok😅😅
