I had the pleasure of singing the soprano solo in this gorgeous Will Todd arrangement of “Away in a manger” with Longford County Choir on Sunday last.
Today I am thinking of all those, especially children, who are lacking in food, water, light, heat and shelter and whose lives are plagued by the horrors of war.
“Be near me Lord, I ask thee to stay close by me forever and love me I pray. Bless all the dear children in thy tender care, and for us for heaven to live with thee there.”

As November is the month of remembrance I thought I would share a recording of “Let my love be heard”, one of the beautiful and poignant pieces I was lucky to sing with Newman Vocare Ensemble at our Remembrance service on Friday just gone. I am so proud and grateful to be a member of this ensemble, and particularly of this beautiful live recording.
