Dundalk Sub Aqua Search And Rescue Unit, took full advantage of the recent spell of good weather & dived on the shipwreck "The Hebron" (Dauntless) last Sunday.

The Hebron lies largely intact on a sandbank 11.5km south of Carlingford lough. Appox 2km off the Kilkeel coast.

The Hebron sank June 22nd 1954, while on a trip to Warrenpoint, with the loss of seven lives.

The Hebron lies at 28m below the surface and a very enjoyable dive was had by all our experienced divers.

Dundalk Sub Aqua Search And Rescue Unit are always on call should our services be required. We work with all the emergency agencies throughout the island of Ireland. We are a voluntary organisation who give up our time freely to search the waters for missing people.
