Happy 10th birthday to the best assistance dog, Isobel!

Elizabeth has completed her first day at Neurokinex for this intensive! Today, she underwent an assessment to determine whether there have been any changes since her previous intensives at Neurokinex. These will be completed tomorrow and the results will be compared with those from previous intensives.

After this, she did some standing in the standing frame, combined with a session of Wide-pulse Neuromuscular Stimulation (WPS) targeting her leg muscles. While in the standing frame, she did some upper body exercises on the Cybex machine, as well as various exercises with weights before she finished off the day with a few rounds of boxing.

Afterwards, Mam and Elizabeth went to the shops down the road to get some groceries. They then went back to their room to rest for the remainer of the evening as Elizabeth was very tired after a long weekend of travelling and getting settled in and then starting her specialised neurorehabilitation today. She will heading to bed early tonight so that she will be well rested for some more hard work at Neurokinex tomorrow.
