A huge thank you to Acquired Brain Injury Ireland for the thoughtful gift of a signed cookbook from Neven Maguire and the lovely thank you card received by our Acquired Brain Injury Unit at CareChoice Swords.

The gift was presented in recognition of our residents' fantastic efforts in supporting the recent Bake for Brain Injury campaign. We were delighted to take part in this important initiative and to contribute towards raising awareness and funds for brain injury services and supports.

Well done to everyone who got involved and helped make the bake sale such a success. 💙🧁

Creativity was in full bloom in our Ballynoe recently as residents recently enjoyed a flower arranging session. 🌸💐

Residents had great fun selecting and arranging a variety of beautiful flowers, creating colourful displays while enjoying conversation, laughter and time together. Activities like these encourage creativity, social engagement and a sense of achievement, while brightening our home with wonderful floral creations.

Recently at The Marlay, our residents have been enjoying a very special egg hatching project! 🐣

Over the past few weeks, we have watched with excitement as eggs hatched into beautiful chicks. Residents shared how wonderful it was to witness new life come into the world, with many reminiscing about raising young families and saying, "We never thought we would be rearing babies again!"

From caring for the eggs to watching the chicks grow, the project brought great joy, conversation, and plenty of smiles throughout our home. Our feathered friends will now return to the farm, but the memories they created will stay with us for a long time to come. 💛🐥
