Join a talk on Air Pollution Monitoring using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), which will be given by Prof Zhong-Ren Peng from the University of Florida on 18th Sept, 2pm.

Prof Peng will present his groups research over the last number of years as they use UAVs to capture 3D profiles of air pollution in the built environment.

Last week, Dublin City Council's Smart City team welcomed a delegation of officials from the Bac Ninh province, Vietnam 🇻🇳

The delegation led by Vuong Quoc Tuan, Standing Vice Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People’s Committee, were very interested to learn more about Smart Dublin and the Smart District Programme focusing on Health and Wellbeing in Smart D8, Connectivity and Engagement in Smart Docklands and Academy of the Near Future and sharing our future plans for the digital twin programme led by Dr. Mani Dhingra✨

It was a pleasure to have them here and to share our experiences with them! 🏙

Last week, Smart Balbriggan held a VR showcase demonstrating the 3D Model of the proposed development 'Creative Hub' at 2 – 4 Dublin Street. 💡

The creative hub will support STEAM activities, Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics, focusing strongly on training and enterprise.😃

This is currently at the planning phase and the public can make submissions on the proposed development - closing date 11th August. Full planning pack available at Balbriggan Public Library, Georges Square, Balbriggan, Co Dublin, K32 TW27 or the link below.⬇
