BLS for Healthcare Providers training on Thursday 2nd March 2023.

BLS (Basic Life Support) for Healthcare Providers course is designed for medical, para-medical and allied healthcare professionals.
The skills taught include adult and pediatric CPR (including two rescuer scenarios), use of bag valve mask and barrier devices, management of foreign body airway obstruction (FBAO), as well as use of Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
The training includes theory and practical assessment.
The course is approved by the Irish Heart Foundation and the American Heart Association and is widely recognised, both nationwide and internationally.

The duration of the training is approx 4.5 hours.

Upon successful completion of the training, participants will be issued with credit card sized e-cards, which are valid for 2 years.

Manual Handling training course on Thursday 18th May.
The training will start at 10am.
Duration: 2.5 hours.
The training will be held at WD Training Centre, 27 Stadium Business Park, Ballycoolin Road, Dublin 11.
Easy access travelling from Dublin City Centre (bus route 40D towards Tyrrelstown) and travelling from Blanchardstown (bus route 17A towards Kilbarrack).
The cost of the course is 40 euro per person.
The fee includes Manual Handling booklet, handouts, fully compliant Manual Handling Training Course certificate (received on the day of the training, subject to passing course assessment), refreshments and free parking.
Credit card style badge with photo can be issued if requested.
Courses are offered twice a week and every other Saturday.
All our instructors are FETAC Level 6 certified.
