As the country gears up for a great weekend of GAA, our RehabCare Connections group in Castlebar want to wish the Mayo Team the best of luck in the semi-final this Saturday. It's an excited house today!

Culture Day was a great success for RehabCare Riverview in Limerick, celebrating our staff members from Spain, Venezuela, Nigeria and Catalonia.
As part of the celebrations, the people attending our service experienced some delicious arepas from Venezuela. So good that a second batch was cooked to fulfill demand! The event ended with a generous helping of homemade Irish stew and brown bread.
Everyone really enjoyed the day, learning about the rich and complex cultures of our treasured team members. Plans are in motion for a second Culture Day in the future.
RehabCare Tus Nua in Tullamore held a brilliant bake sale last Friday. The event marked the achievement of a personal goal for a young woman who attends our service, who aspired to run her own bake sale.
With the support of her keyworker and the help of friends, her goal was successfully achieved. Together, they planned, prepared, and baked items that were displayed and sold on the day.
All funds raised will be used to support the purchase of outdoor gym equipment and additional resources for the centre. This will have a positive and meaningful impact on the lives of people who attend the wonderful Day service, which they call their "little piece of heaven here on earth".
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out to support the bake sale. The group said they are so grateful for their amazing community and sincerely appreciate the support shown by everyone involved in helping to make this goal a reality.
