Hailing from Wexford and based in Dublin, Silas began as a resident graphic designer for whose work has been recognised and shared throughout. Whilst delving deep within the industry in the role of design, he took upon discovering his artistry in mixing which led to his alias 'Silas'. T Y is an Peruvian techno DJ & Producer. Fast paced beats, industrial synthesis with a touch of electro and early trance often compared to Morsure, Hioil, New Frames or Bluried Secrets. He produces his music crafting analogue synthesis and digital sequencing. While keeping the raw essence of techno, he develops uplifting melodies that brings excitement to his music. He has found inspiration in Annie Hall, Manni Dee, VTSS (who also remixed his music). T Y music has been featured in Resident Advisor podcasts, Industrial Complexx magazine, The Brvtalist, Rinse FM, djmag, reclaim your city, Slam radio, Dekmantel podcast, Possession, muno.pl and clubbing Spain among others. Career highlights includes opening for I Hate Models, Rebekah, Nico Moreno, Noneoftheavobe and Cera Khin among others. TOP 3 most sold track of Subsist Records, Carnivor records, Obscuur records, Global Death wish, Askorn records and Marked. Best Techno Hit, with the track ‘It Was The Water’, charted in 39 boards on spot.
