Join us this Saturday, 18 July (6pm-7:30pm) for our monthly TRE® (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises) workshop facilitated by the wonderful Sylvia .alchemyforest

TRE® is a method developed by Dr. David Berceli, based on trauma neurobiology, Stephen Porges’ polyvagal theory, and the approaches of Peter Levine and Gabor Maté. TRE® harnesses the body’s natural ability to self-regulate by triggering neurogenic tremors which allow tension & stress release and help the nervous system shift out of ‘fight-or-flight’ and into a relaxed ‘rest-and-digest’ state.
🙏🏼

What to expect:
🔹 Embodied meditation to begin – We will start with a brief grounding practice, helping us feel present in our bodies and surroundings.
🔹 Opening exercises – Gentle movements to activate the body and stretch tense areas, preparing it for neurogenic tremors.
🔹 Active TRE® Phase Alternated with Deep Relaxation – A safe and guided process to initiate neurogenic tremors, allowing the body to naturally release tension.
🔹 Final Integrative Meditation

There is something so special about the long summer evenings: the lingering daylight and the softening sky (with its hues of gold, pink, and blue) gently inviting us to slow down, pause, and savouring life’s simple and wondrous joys. These magical, long evenings are a lovely time to roll out our mats, breathe deeply, be present, and let our bodies join nature’s quiet embrace of rest.
🌅
So for anyone looking to unwind, reset, and find grounding in stillness, we ‘ve got two wonderful events at the studio this weekend!

CANDLELIT RESTORATIVE with Maggie Dunne

Fri, 3 July | 7:30pm-9pm

Restorative yoga is a deeply relaxing practice that uses props like bolsters and blankets to fully support the body in passive poses for extended periods. The focus on long holds, mindfulness, and slow breathing helps melt away habitual tension in the muscles and joints, balancing the nervous system and preparing your body for more peaceful sleep
