Some events just happen. Others move you forward.

For me, Pitchathon at Dogpatch Labs (10/10/25) was not just another community meetup. It was a turning point. A room full of builders, creators, and curious minds came together not just to pitch ideas but to shape what Solana innovation looks like from Ireland.

Hosted by Superteam Ireland, the event blended learning, courage and collaboration in a way I did not expect. It began with Paul Dylan-Ennis, who gave us a deeper look into the roots of crypto and the cypherpunk movement. He reminded us that blockchain was never born from hype. It began with purpose: privacy, freedom and decentralization. That message set the tone for the night and reminded us that technology must always serve meaning.

Then came the pitches.

Ideas came alive. Voices that were unsure at first gained strength. People from different backgrounds students, indie hackers, senior devs, designers and even first-time founders stood up and proved that innovation has no age or title. The room was overflowing with creativity and courage.

I also pitched my project SolSign, a Web3 identity and authentication platform on Solana powered by real-world human commitment verification combined with passport validation for trustless signatures. The feedback I received from mentors and fellow builders helped me refine not only my pitch but also the clarity of my mission. I walked in with an idea. I walked out with direction.

Pitchathon did not end when the pitches stopped. It fueled my preparation for the upcoming Colosseum Cypherpunk Hackathon and gave me the momentum to keep building with purpose and conviction.

To Superteam Ireland, to Paul and to every builder who showed up with an idea and a brave heart, thank you. You reminded me that Web3 is not only about code. It is also about community, curiosity and human connection.

If you are in Ireland and you believe in building the future, do not stay on the sidelines. Join Superteam Ireland. The door is open and collaboration lives here.

✨ Had an incredible time networking in a space that’s held a special place in my heart since 2016—Blockchain and Web3.

I’ve been passionate about this space for years, and it still excites me every time I get the chance to share that love. This week, I brought my wife to the "Web3 Jobs in Ireland" event—so she could see firsthand why I care so much about blockchain, tokenization, and the future of the decentralized web.

And guess what? She loved it too! 💡 It even sparked more conversations between us about finally building our own startup someday. 🙌

One highlight of the night? I bumped into someone wearing a Stellar t-shirt—and I couldn’t help but say, “Ey, it’s Stellar!” 😄 That small moment turned into a great conversation.

For context, I’m currently using the Stellar blockchain for my Capstone Project:

It was such a memorable evening—meeting amazing people, exchanging ideas, and feeling the strong, positive energy of Ireland’s blockchain community.

I told myself that night:
"From now on, I’ll keep building in Web3—because this is the future."
