Exciting News 🌟 We're thrilled to welcome Dr. Rowland Imperial to our academic community as the new tenure-track Assistant Professor in Applied Linguistics (TESOL) at the Centre for Language and Communication Studies. 📚 With a recent DPhil in Education from the University of Oxford, Dr. Imperial brings a background in applied linguistics, sociolinguistics, and the sociology and philosophy of education. His research, deeply influenced by Latin American philosophy of liberation and decoloniality thinking, aims to forge a “critical-ethical politics” in English language education.
