HERMITAGE 🏫

☀️🌊🍦 This week at Hermitage, we’ve been celebrating all things summer! 🍦🌊☀️

Even though the weather outside hasn’t exactly felt like a typical summer week... 🌧️😅 we’ve brought the sunshine and summer fun indoors! 🌞✨

Our little ones have had a fantastic time taking part in lots of fun, fresh, and summery activities 🏖️💛. They made their own ice creams in different flavours 🍦🍓🍋, created beautiful suns using a variety of materials 🌞🎨, and enjoyed sensory play experiences inspired by the beach 🌊🏝️.

The children also explored beach-themed sensory activities with boats 🚤, sand 🏖️, and different animals that can be found by the seaside, including some amazing crabs! 🦀😍

Every activity was filled with creativity, discovery, and plenty of smiles 🥰✨. And that’s not all we enjoyed so many more exciting summer adventures throughout the week!

CHURCHWELL 🏫

This week, we have continued learning through play! 🌟

Our youngest children have enjoyed imaginative role-play, exploring different professions and learning about the world of work. 👩‍🚒👨‍⚕️👩‍🍳

Some of our children have been practicing the initial letters of their names while developing their fine motor skills through fun, hands-on activities ✏️🖐️

Meanwhile, our oldest children have started exploring the theme of summer, learning about marine animals and discovering the fascinating creatures that live beneath the sea. ☀️🐠🐙

What a wonderful week full of learning, creativity, and fun! 💙

HERMITAGE 🏫

🛒✨ This week at Hermitage we became real supermarket experts! ✨🛒

Our little ones had so much fun exploring the theme of the supermarket 🥦🍎🥖. They created their own shopping lists, walked around the supermarket filling up their trolleys 🛍️🛒 and even paid all by themselves using their coins! 💰👏

Throughout the activity, they discovered the different sections and products you can find in a supermarket 🥛🍌🥫, learning in a fun and hands-on way. They also designed and created their own personalised shopping bags 🎨👜 and they turned out amazing!

It has been such a wonderful experience full of excitement, learning and lots of fun 😊💛

ST EDMUNDS 🏫

This week at St. Edmund’s, our children explored the exciting theme of All About Food 🍎🥕🍞💚.

Through creative activities 🎨, sensory games 🧩, music 🎶, and hands-on experiences, the children learned about healthy foods, different ingredients, and where food comes from. They also enjoyed preparing simple recipes together, making the experience even more fun and interactive 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳.

Throughout the week, the children explored flavours, textures, colours, and healthy eating habits while developing their creativity, confidence, and curiosity ✨.

And we also celebrated our fantastic Super Hero Day 🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️✨. The children had an amazing time dressing up, taking part in exciting superhero activities, and enjoying a day full of laughter, fun, and special memories together 😊🌈
